MINOR premiers Mt Albert secured the first Lion Red Fox Memorial Grand Final berth with a hard fought and nail biting 26-24 win over the Papakaura Sea Eagles at Fowlds Park. The Sea Eagles will be ruing missed opportunities outscoring the opposition but failing to convert any of their 6 tries. Mt Albert looked a little jaded but continued to prove they can withstand pressure games with Simon Iremaia, Jack Noble and TJ Aoese their best. For Papakura Damien Valeli was impressive along with Solomon Foki and Afoa Fangubu.
