The Dolphins face a massive challenge this weekend in all three grades playing North Queensland Young Guns in Queensland Cup and Easts in the lower grades. THE latest on the Dolphins injuries is Rod West is out for the season after breaking his arm in the first half against Wynnum last Saturday. He is due to have surgery on Wednesday. Andrew Wynyard who lasted just 13 minutes was once again forced off with a chronic back injury but is an outside chance of playing this weekend. Grant Flugge is recovering well from a rib injury and is hopeful of a return against Souths on Sunday. Phil Shilvock is due back in the match against North Queensland in Cairns next weekend. REDCLIFFE have recorded their first win since May 8th with a 52 - 16 demolition of Souths Logan at Dolphin Oval last Sunday. The Dolphins maintain 7th place on the points table with 16 points with the competition leaders just two points ahead.

REDCLIFFE were beaten today by Burleigh 20 - 18 and face the prospect of falling out of the top should they be beaten by Wynnum next weekend.

THE Redcliffe Pepsi Dolphins are home to the Eastern Suburbs Tigers this Sunday at Dolphin Oval. After a disappointing effort by the Queensland Cup side against the Central Comets they will be looking for an improved performance this week against the in-form Tigers. It should be a high quality day of footy with Tigers and Dolphins both sitting high on the ladder in each grade. Neil Wharton has named a similar side to last weekend but several players will have to pass a fitness test before he will know the final make up of his squad. AFTER another disappointing effort at home last Sunday when the Redcliffe Pepsi Dolphins failed to win a game in any grade only salvaging a draw in the Colts game. I?m sure the coaching staff will get the boys back on track. But it doesn?t get any easier this weekend the Dolphins travel down the M1 to clash with the very strong Burleigh Bears. If both clubs play to their potential in all three grades it should be a fantastic day of football.
