Josh Charnley scored a try on his final appearance for Wigan as the Warriors beat Warrington Wolves 12-6 in the First Utility Super League Grand Final at Old Trafford.
The winger, who will cross codes to join rugby union outfit Sale Sharks at the end of the month, went over in the corner in the second half to ensure Wigan did not suffer a third consecutive defeat in the Manchester showpiece.
Wigan were forced to come from behind after Ladbrokes Challenge Cup runners-up Warrington, who were last crowned league champions 61 years ago, held a 6-2 lead at half-time.
Matty Smith kicked a seventh-minute penalty for Wigan, but Dec Patton dummied over from close range 13 minutes later before converting to put the Wolves ahead.
Two minutes after Ryan Atkins had a try chalked off for failing to ground the ball cleanly, Wigan levelled when man-of-the-match Liam Farrell broke through the Wolves defence and offloaded to Oliver Gildart, who scored the 100th Grand Final try.
Charnley then put Wigan ahead shortly after the hour mark, touching down from Dan Sarginson's perfect grubber kick, before Smith kicked another penalty seven minutes from time to leave Warrington with too much to do.
