FULL TIME - Previously, the Broncos' biggest win in 2018 was by nine points. Today, however, they have made a clear statement that they can be premiership contenders with a 34-0 thumping of the Titans. The Gold Coast's top eight hopes have been dashed. Full wrap to come, thanks for joining me!

Nothing much happening here folks with neither side looking all too threatening. The Broncos have it deep in their own half. Tevita Pangai Junior throws a wild offload which Matthew Lodge scoops up before being tackled on his 40. Pangai Junior then surges up into the Gold Coast half. The inside ball on the last sees Darius Boyd storm through the middle and he offloads for Patrick Mago but the interchange forward drops it.

Will Matthews goes over but it is disallowed for a double movement! Personally don't like that ruling as when you slow it down of course it will look worse. Regardless, Broncos gain the penalty and begin their set on their own 30.

Kodi Nikorima dummies and goes straight through the middle! He tries to link with Anthony Milford in support but Dale Copley gets in the way and takes it but pulls a hammy in the process and hobbles off! Titans will the ball and they now earn a penalty on their 40.

Kodi Nikorima is penalised for holding down the defender too long as Leilani Latu now drops the ball in an awkward tackle. Massive wrap for the Broncos in defence - they have been brilliant. Certainly sent a reminder that they should still be in premiership discussion.

The Titans get a chance to post their first points of the night after nabbing a penalty and they begin their set 40 out from the Brisbane line. Ryan James takes it up to the 30 on the first play before Nathan Peats, playing in the forwards now, works it up towards the 30. Ashley Taylor spreads it left to James who is tackled 10 out. Mitch Rein throws it out of dummy-half straight to Alex Glenn who drops it! Opportunity gone begging!

Brisbane have it off the short restart. Sam Thaiday takes it up over halfway before Matthew Lodge barges past the 40 metre mark. Kodi Nikorima sends it to Anthony Milford who spreads the ball to Darius Boyd but the fullback is trapped and takes the tackle. Jake Turpin throws it forward out of dummy-half on the last and a turnover is called.

Darius Boyd takes the floating bomb on the last and brings it up past the 40. Jonus Pearson and Matthew Lodge make solid runs off the following plays before Anthony Milford takes on the line and picks up 15 metres along the way. Offload-happy footy from Brisbane now on the fourth and Jake Turpin is taken 15 from the Gold Coast line. Anthony Milford grubbers and Ashley Taylor takes Jordan Kahu out. Dumb play and a penalty to the Broncos, who I assume will shoot for two.

Ashley Taylor again goes short on the last to Kevin Proctor who throws a speculator back inside but Joe Ofahengaue dives on it. Anthony Milford spreads it to Kodi Nikorima who gives it to David Fifita and the youngster surges to the Gold Coast 40 metre mark. Nikorima sends it high on the last and Michael Gordon flies above to snatch it.

They spread it left and Dale Copley finds some space and looks to offload back inside for Michael Gordon but the fullback is already through the line and the ball goes to Darius Boyd. That is the game for mine. Titans looked rudderless in attack with three sets on the Brisbane line. Kodi Nikorima finds touch 20 out from the Gold Coast line on the following set.

And the Titans have thrown VERY little at them in the set, with Brisbane looking very strong in defence. Nevertheless, the home side get another chance now with a penalty blown on the last for offside.

Moeaki Fotuaika is taken high and another set now for the Titans 10 out.

Fortunate call here with Brenko Lee drawing a penalty for interference from the marker after he fumbled the ball bringing it out from his own end. Titans 40 out and they really need to score here.

Anthony Milford turns it back inside for Korbin Sims who is away... but not quick enough and he is tackled 20 out! Kodi Nikorima tries to split them through the middle but is tackled. Gold Coast are penalised on the last for holding on in the tackle too long and Jamayne Isaako will shoot for two. Very odd choice!

HALF TIME BRONCOS 20 TITANS 0 - The Gold Coast have been simply terrible thus far. Brisbane have looked far better and deserve their commanding lead.

Ashley Taylor short to Ryan James who goes through the middle before being tackled 30 out. He plays it quickly and Mitch Rein fumbles it... this is poor with their season on the line.

Anthony Milford with a poor play-the-ball and is penalised. Titans survive but only just - they are playing terribly.

Ashley Taylor grubbers for himself and looks to have regathered but Jamayne Isaako comes out with the ball and races away before linking with Kodi Nikorima who sprints away before being tackled five short of the line. Now the Gold Coast breathe a massive sigh of relief with a penalty going against the Broncos, presumably for an incorrect play-the-ball. Taylor, however, can't find touch and the Titans immediately concede a penalty for a strip. The Broncos are just 20 out.

Another fantastic set after points from Brisbane, trapping Phillip Sami five out from his own line but they undo all their hard work by conceding a penalty. Titans begin their set on their own 40.

Massive run down the edge by Jamayne Isaako and he is taken just shy of halfway on the first. Kotoni Staggs takes the following hit-up and is crushed by Moeaki Fotuaika. He suffers a head knock too and is taken off for a HIA - doubt he'll return which is a pity because he's been great!

LATE MAIL: Titans - Jack Stockwell is out and replaced in the starting side by Moeaki Fotuaika. As a result, Leilani Latu is recalled on the interchange bench. Broncos - Alex Glenn starts at hooker with debutant Jake Turpin moving back to the bench. Tevita Pangai junior goes into the starting side at second row, while David Fifita is the new addition on the interchange list. Teenage sensation Kotoni Staggs will start in the centres in place of Tom Opacic.
