With the J.J Giltinan Shield locked safely away in Melbourne's trophy cabinet and the Bunnies out of finals contention there's not a lot to play for here other than pride and for the Storm, keeping their momentum heading into September.
That won't stop this being a cracking contest though. Both teams have been in good form of late with Melbourne winning their last 5 and Souths their last 3 and these two teams have a history of tight contests in recent years.
