Antonio Kaufusi was formally known as a bits and pieces first grader prior to the 2007 season. In 2007, Kaufusi quickly established himself as one of the most damaging forwards in the game which earned him his first State of Origin jersey for Queensland. However, his jubilation was short lived being struck down by a knee injury early in the match ruling him out for the season.
