With a new season brings plenty of excitement and enthusiasm for all 16 teams' supporters, and in 2011 the Knights will be no different. At the time of this preview being written, the Knights' future regarding privatisation has taken an interesting turn in recent days with Nathan Tinkler pushing to have the club's members vote on his proposal by no later than 21st March, threatening to take his $100 million over 10 years offer off the table if this ultimatum was not met. To make matters a little more complicated for the club, an unknown source (rumoured to be Tinkler) was thought to have made an offer for Sharks prop Kade Snowden last week, despite the talented forward appearing to have re-signed with the club. This subsequently saw Cronulla take their initial offer away, leaving Snowden with the possibility of being without a club for the 2012 season.
