LeagueUnlimited Team of the Week - Round 3

The LeagueUnlimited Team of the Week is back again in 2015. Chosen by our Live Updaters, this team puts together the best performances of the Round, and builds a team worthy of taking on any in the NRL.

Fullback: Jordan Kahu (Broncos)
Kahu was outstanding under the high ball, handling everything the Cowboys could send his way. On top of that, he was brilliant in attack, and made a couple of try saving tackles to boot.

Wing: Manu Vatuvei (Warriors)
Just a powerful performance from the big man this week. Vatuvei ran for over 230 metres from 20 runs, and scored a try as well.

Centre: Blake Ferguson (Roosters)
A return to form for Blake Ferguson against the the Penrith Panthers. Ferguson scored two tries, made 3 line breaks, and looked threatening every time he got the ball.

Centre: Tim Lafai (Bulldogs)
Tim Lafai almost single handedly kept his team in the game against the Sea Eagles, and gave Steve Matai a cold a couple of times as well.

Wing: Jason Nightingale (Dragons)
It's rare for a winger to get credit for their defensive performance, but that's what's happening here. Jason Nightingale and Dylan Farrell locked down their side of the field, and although they let a couple of tackles slip, they made 40 between them - not common numbers for outside backs. Was also important in attack as he lifted his side out of a hole.

Five-Eight: Blake Austin (Raiders)
Austin was best on field for his side in the first half. Couldn't keep the side together in the second half, but his side's woes are through no fault of his own.

Halfback: Cooper Cronk (Storm)
Lifted his side in attack with some clever kicking. Cooper Cronk and Cameron Smith combined like they'd been playing for years...

Lock: Mike Cooper (Dragons)
Cooper tackled everything that moved against the Raiders, and was strong with the ball, running for 100 metres.

Second Row: Tohu Harris (Storm)
Had an amazing game, scoring two tries, making two line breaks, and running for almost 160 metres. Not bad for a 55 minute performance.

Second Row: Ryan Hoffman (Warriors)
Ryan Hoffman is shaping up to be the buy of the season so far. Not only strong in both attack and defence, but Hoffman has provided stability to a forward pack that usually bases its game on power and aggression.

Prop: James Graham (Bulldogs)
Hits like a train in attack, yet with the finesse of a halfback.

Hooker: Cameron Smith (Storm)
Cameron Smith played his usual strong game, and directed his team well around the park.

Prop: Kade Snowden (Knights)
We could finally see what Knights fans have been waiting for from Kade Snowden this week. Snowden was huge, running for 200 metres, and carving up the defensive line at every opportunity.

Interchange: Tim Grant (Rabbitohs), Josh Mansour (Panthers), Lachlan Coote (Cowboys), Aidan Sezer (Titans)
