Panthers v Broncos preview

The LeagueUnlimited Team of the Week is back again in 2015. Chosen by our Live Updaters, this team puts together the best performances of the Round, and builds a team worthy of taking on any in the NRL.
Fullback: Greg Inglis (Rabbitohs)
Inglis ran for close to 200 metres at the back, was involved in attacking raids all day and was safe as houses at the back. He looks set for a big performance in Origin after a much improved preparation.
Wing: Michael Gordon (Sharks)
Michael Gordon did a lot to relieve the pressure on his team, making several strong runs from the back, and breaking 7 tackles.
Centre: Moses Mbye (Bulldogs)
Mbye outstanding with his ball play and looked dangerous every time he had the ball in his hands. Has left Des Hasler with no choice but to start with him in the side, and repaid that faith in a big way.
Centre: Jack Reed (Broncos)
Reed was everywhere. He made great decisions in defence and made even better ones in attack. Good overall game in a great side.
Wing: Daniel Tupou (Roosters)
Tupou was strong in a losing side. He defused most of the attack coming his way, and made a few key line breaks that helped improve his team's field position at crucial times.
Five-Eight: Blake Green (Storm)
Scored a double tonight which came from effort plays. Cooper Cronk left injured at the back end of the second half and was able to keep the Storm in a comfortable position to ride out the game.
Halfback: Johnathan Thurston (Cowboys)
Thurston was the catalyst behind an incredible 30 points in just twelve minutes, after a lacklustre first 50. Didn't miss a conversion and provided a kick for a few.
Lock: Wade Graham (Sharks)
Wade Graham was everywhere in the match against the Roosters. He pulled off some great plays at pivotal moments, and was solid in defence.
Second Row: Chris Lawrence (Tigers)
Lawrence made the transition into the second row, collecting a double. He proved his was willing to take on the line, in a positive sign for the Tigers.
Second Row: Gavin Cooper (Cowboys)
Cooper scored a hat-trick in six minutes, combining brilliantly with Thurston on the fringe.
Prop: Ryan James (Titans)
Running for close to 200 metres, the NSW hopeful pressed his claims with another strong showing.
Hooker: Cameron Smith (Storm)
Smith was his usual supreme self, and as captain he helped the Storm rebound from a poor match last week, particularly defensively.
Prop: Josh McGuire (Broncos)
As always, McGuire was solid. But he stood up and made himself known in a brilliant forward pack.
Interchange: Ben Hunt, Aidan Sezer, Josh Papalii, Frank Pritchard
