Wests Tigers v South Sydney Rabbitohs
ANZ Stadium - Friday 7:45pm
1. James Tedesco 2. Kevin Naiqama 3. David Nofoaluma 4. Tim Simona 5. Pat Richards 6. Mitchell Moses 7. Luke Brooks 8. Keith Galloway 9. Dene Halatau 10. Sauaso Sue 11. Kyle Lovett 12. Chris Lawrence 13. Martin Taupau
Interchange: 14. Ava Seumanufagai 15. Matthew Lodge 16. Manaia Cherrington 17. Brenden Santi 21. Jack Buchanan
Changes from Last Round
In - Nofoaluma, Lodge, Simona Out - Woods, Hoeter, Milone
Analysis - Wests Tigers lose the go forward and experience of Aaron Woods this week, however they welcome back attacking weapons Tim Simona and David Nofoaluma into the centres. This is a huge game for the Tigers as a loss here against a weakened Rabbitohs will see them start to lose touch with the Top 8.
Supercoach Studs - James Tedesco (82) is a must over this period and along with Aaron Woods (73) is the best Supercoach performer in the Tigers side. Chris Lawrence (92) fired in the backrow last week and ended his tryscoring drought with a double.
Supercoach Duds - Delouise Hoeter (35) has been dropped in a terrible blow for the majority who bought him with these rounds in mind.
1. Alex Johnston 2. John Olive 3. Dylan Walker 4. Bryson Goodwin 5. Aaron Gray 6. John Sutton 7. Luke Keary 8. Thomas Burgess 9. Cameron McInnes 10. David Tyrrell 11. Nathan Brown 12. Chris McQueen 13. Ben Lowe
Interchange: 14. Jason Clark 15. Chris Grevsmuhl 16. Tim Grant 17. George Burgess
Changes from Last Round
In -McInnes, Olive Out - Luke, Inglis
Analysis - Souths go into this match without key players Greg Inglis and Issac Luke but have able replacements in Alex Johnson and Cameron McInnes. Souths burst back into form in Perth last week with one of their best performances of the season and confidence will be high.
Supercoach Studs - Dylan Walker (131) was outstanding against the Warriors after distressing many Supercoaches in the past fortnight. Chris Grevsmuhl (72) is on fire and will again command big minutes from Michael Maguire. Aaron Gray (52) bounced back and is a starter in the backline for this week.
Supercoach Duds - Not many disappointments last week, Luke Keary (34) was pretty unlucky not to score more. Alex Johnson (42) should see more involvement at fullback this week with no Greg Inglis (79) due to Origin.
New Zealand Warriors v Sydney Roosters
Mt Smart Stadium - Saturday 6:00pm
1. Sam Tomkins 2. Ken Maumalo 3. Konrad Hurrell 4. Solomone Kata 5. Manu Vatuvei 6. Chad Townsend 7. Shaun Johnson 8. Albert Vete 9. Nathan Friend 10. Ben Matulino 11. Bodene Thompson 12. Raymond Faitala-Mariner 13. Simon Mannering
Interchange: 14. Tuimoala Lolohea 15. Sebastine Ikahihifo 16. Sam Lisone 17. Charlie Gubb 18. Jonathan Wright
Changes from Last Round
In - Tomkins, Hurrell, Faitala-Mariner, Gubb Out - Havili, Lilyman, Hoffman
Analysis - The Warriors have made plenty of changes after last week's horror road trip to Perth where they were thrashed by Souths. Sam Tomkins returns to fullback in a big boost and Konrad Hurrell also returns to the centres. Raymond Faitala-Mariner replaces Ryan Hoffman and Charlie Gubb comes in for Jacob Lilyman. Returning home, expect the Warriors to have a point to prove against the Roosters.
Supercoach Studs - Ken Maumolo (41) is without doubt the best cheapie this week, he also is available in the backrow which will extremely helpful at this time of year. Simon Mannering (63) or Ben Matulino (62) will be sensible captain choices this week.
Supercoach Duds - Shaun Johnson (13) put in a shocker but heads home this week and could just as likely get 113. Solomone Kata (23) was quiet but is a hold this week.
1. Roger Tuivasa-Sheck 2. Daniel Tupou 3. Shaun Kenny-Dowall 4. Blake Ferguson 5. Brendan Elliott 6. James Maloney 7. Jackson Hastings 8. Jared Waerea-Hargreaves 9. Jake Friend 10. Sam Moa 11. Siosiua Taukeiaho 12. Mitchell Aubusson 13. Isaac Liu
Interchange: 14. Matt McIlwrick 15. Willie Manu 16. Kane Evans 17. Dylan Napa 18. Suaia Matagi
Changes from Last Round
In - Ferguson, Elliot, McIlwrick, Manu, Matagi (extended bench) Out - Guerra, Jennings, Pearce, Cordner
Analysis - The Roosters lose their big guns to State of Origin, but welcome back superstar buy Blake Ferguson who returns after a long lay off. A backline re-shuffle sees Brendan Elliot added to the wing and Mitch Aubusson to the backrow. Jackson Hastings gets his chance replacing Mitchell Pearce. The trip across the ditch is a huge test for the Roosters and they certainly have the depth of their squad tested this week.
Supercoach Studs - Sio Taukeiaho (61) is very valuable this week for those that have him and he should see big minutes. Roger Tuivasa-Sheck (51) was reasonably quiet attack wise but still gets through plenty of runs and is a must.
Supercoach Duds - James Maloney (33) is a bargain this week and if you consider him a keeper then now is the time. Jackson Hastings (6) gets his chance in the #7 but is a trap, he may score well this week but what happens when he only gets 10 minutes a week from the bench?
Gold Coast Titans v Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs
Cbus Super Stadium - Sunday 4:00pm
1. Josh Hoffman 2. Anthony Don 3. James Roberts 4. Brad Tighe 5. David Mead 6. Aidan Sezer 7. Daniel Mortimer 8. Luke Douglas 9. Kierran Moseley 10. Eddy Pettybourne 11. Ryan James 12. Ben Ridge 13. Lachlan Burr
Interchange: 14. Matt White 15. Agnatius Paasi 16. Mark Ioane 17. Matt Robinson 18. Kevin Gordon
Changes from Last Round
In - Robinson, Ioane, White Out - Taylor, Myles, Elgey
Analysis - A great win last week for the Titans away at Leichardt Oval over the Tigers on Friday night. An opportunity has now presented itself as they now host Canterbury without 5 of their Origin stars. The Titans however miss captain Nate Myles and have lost in form rookie Kane Elgey to injury, which sees Daniel Mortimer back in the #7.
Supercoach Studs - James Roberts (103) has hit form and if you consider him a keeper his price could well start sky rocket this week. Will go close to being the NRL top tryscorer this year. Lachlan Burr (55) has been a handy pick up and is a great addition to the backrow this week for those who bought him a few weeks back.
Supercoach Duds - Kane Elgey (27) is out for a few weeks with an ankle injury and is a sell if you didn't offload him in the past few weeks. Dave Taylor (27) is out of form and has not been included this week.
1. Sam Perrett 2. Curtis Rona 3. Chase Stanley 4. Timoteo Lafai 5. Corey Thompson 6. Josh Reynolds 7. Moses Mbye 8. Aiden Tolman 9. Michael Lichaa 10. Sam Kasiano 11. Greg Eastwood 12. Frank Pritchard 13. Lloyd Perrett
Interchange: 14. Danny Fualalo 15. Antonio Kaufusi 16. Tim Browne 17. Herman Essese 20. Tyrone Phillips 21. Jacob Loko
Changes from Last Round
In - Thompson, Stanley , L Perrett, Kaufusi, Ese' Ese Fualalo, Phillips, Loko (extended bench) Out - Graham, Hodkinson, B Morris, J Morris, Jackson, Klemmer
Analysis - Canterbury made a huge statement against the Dragons but concede 5 players to the NSW side. However it should be noted that this did not seem to worry them against the Raiders a fortnight ago. James Graham is also a tremendous loss but this presents a great opportunity for young Lloyd Perrett to start at lock.
Supercoach Studs - Sam Kasiano (85) was not only literally huge for Canterbury last week and should see an increase in minutes this week, is this a good thing though? Tim Lafai (54) returned to form and is a superb pick up this week. Curtis Rona (75) is a try scoring freak hitting 13 from 12 games this year.
Supercoach Duds - James Graham (29) has an injured hamstring and there is yet no word on the seriousness of the injury, so wait and see before deciding whether to move him on or not. Josh Reynolds (15) came off the bench late and was sensational, he could explode this week.
Melbourne Storm v Parramatta Eels
AAMI Park - Monday 7:00pm
1. Cameron Munster 2. Mahe Fonua 3. Tohu Harris 4. Kurt Mann 5. Richard Kennar 6. Blake Green 7. Ben Hampton 8. Jesse Bromwich 9. Ryan Hinchcliffe 10. Jordan McLean 11. Kevin Proctor 12. Tim Glasby 13. Dale Finucane
Interchange: 14. Young Tonumaipea 15. Kenneath Bromwich 16. Christian Welch 17. Felise Kaufusi
Changes from Last Round
In -Tonumaipea, Hampton, Mann Out - Smith, Cronk, Chambers
Analysis - The Storm as per usual at this time of year are missing key players. Smith is replaced by Ryan Hinchcliffe, Cronk replaced by Ben Hampton and Kurt Mann takes over from Will Chambers. Melbourne are at home and will be hoping to go in under the radar as underdogs. The form of Cameron Munster has been impressive.
Supercoach Studs - Blake Green (117) is the unsung hero of the Storm side this year and will be crucial in this match. Cameron Munster (52) as mentioned is a serious talent.
Supercoach Duds - Tohu Harris (37) is playing in the centres, this is a concern as his workrate will not be as high…hope for a try. Jesse Bromwich (49) played less minutes but his experience will be needed in this game.
1. Reece Robinson 2. Semi Radradra 3. Ryan Morgan 4. Brad Takairangi 5. Bureta Faraimo 6. Corey Norman 7. Chris Sandow 8. Junior Paulo 9. Nathan Peats 10. Tim Mannah 11. Manu Ma'u 12. Tepai Moeroa 13. Anthony Watmough
Interchange: 14. David Gower 15. Darcy Lussick 16. Danny Wicks 17. Pauli Pauli 18. Daniel Alvaro
Changes from Last Round
In - Faraimo, Lussick Out - Hopoate, Alvaro
Analysis - Well it doesn't get much worse for the Eels than giving up a tremendous lead over the Cowboys and then quite simply self destructing. How will they bounce back this week against Melbourne without their Origin stars? Missing only Will Hopoate, Parramatta simply must win this game for morale alone.
Supercoach Studs - Semi Radradra (138) is a freak and if you have him this week you will be expecting plenty. Nathan Peats (67) was a hell of a good buy a few weeks back and is a decent buy this week if you need a hooker with Issac Luke out.
Supercoach Duds - Anthony Watmough (33) has not been Supercoach relevant this season. Ryan Morgan (13) looked certain to score a try until being stripped of the ball in a brilliant cover tackle from opposite Antonio Winterstein.
