Gold Coast Titans v New Zealand Warriors
Cbus Super Stadium - Saturday 5:30pm
The newly sponsored Gold Coast are missing Brad Tighe, which means new signing Nene Macdonald comes straight into the centres. Maroons enforcer and club captain Nate Myles is also out, so Eddy Pettybourne will come into the front row, leaving open the lock role to be filled by Lachlan Burr. Ben Ridge is also out, Matt Robinson joining the second row to replace him. Dave Taylor is promoted to the bench from Intrust Super Cup last week, while the Titans' other new signing Chad Redman plugs the remaining gap on the bench.
The Warriors finally get Sam Tomkins back in the fullback role. This sees Tuimoala Lolohea drop out of the side. Starting prop Jacob Lillyman drops to the bench after a heavy load on Wednesday night in State of Origin, which means Sebastine Ikahihifo will start in his place. Similarly Ryan Hoffman will go to the bench, with Raymond Faitala-Mariner to start in the second row.
