Challenge Cup Preview

86 teams have come and gone and its down to the final two, the Leeds Rhinos and the Hull Kingston Rovers; It's here the second biggest day of the English Rugby League calendar, the 2015 Ladbrokes Challenge Cup final which for the 71st time will be held at Wembley Stadium in London.

This year's Challenge Cup began back on January 31, with the opening match taking place at the Aldershot Military Stadium where the Wath Brow Hornets defeated the British Army. Whilst it was clear none of these first round teams were going to go a long way into the tournament, it was an important step in an historic competition.

The 2015 Final will see the defending champions the Leeds Rhinos take on the surprise packets of this year's Cup competition, the Hull Kingston Rovers. The recent Challenge Cup history of both sides is remarkably different, with the Rhinos making their fifth final appearance in six years, whilst for the Rovers it is their first appearance at Wembley since a one point loss to Castleford 29 years ago.

Form: This game should be a good one for the fans with both sides having good chances of taking home the silverware. Hull KR have been disappointing in the English Super League, currently deep in a battle to save themselves from Relegation in the qualifiers section of the ESL, but have been finding good form in that section, plus good form in the Challenge Cup which should see this game turn out a close one.

The Leeds Rhinos have been in form all year and have won their last three games, scoring a combined 110 points. The class factor is going to help, and Leeds with a superstar English team, the quality is there right across the park to blow the Rovers away.

Who to watch: The most key player for the match is Rovers halfback Albert Kelly - IF he plays. With an injury cloud hanging over the Australian, Kelly is integral to any success that the Rovers will have at Wembley with most of the success coming through the crafty half.

The Rhinos aren't going to rely on just one key player but the two players to focus on are the young-guns Zak Hardaker & Tom Briscoe who are going to be an integral part of the future success of the Leeds Rhinos with their main stars reaching the sunsets of their careers.

Favourites: The clear favourites for the game are the Leeds Rhinos who are well ahead currently in the English Super League and with their talent on the field it will be tough for the Rovers

My tip: The Rhinos to win by 14.
