Southern Cross Group Services CEO Sam Johnson welcomed the opportunity to become service providers, as well as the stadium naming rights partners of the Sharks for the next three years.

"We understand the Sharks are the pride of the Shire and we are proud to have our brand and our name associated with the team's spiritual home," Johnson said. "Southern Cross believe we have the right personnel to act as ambassadors for the club and in partnership uphold the image, brand and reputation of the club as it continues to grow".

"Our closely aligned core values will be integral to the success of both Southern Cross and the Sharks.

"We look forward to truly partnering with the Sharks and in helping them to fulfil their vision of becoming one of Australia's great sporting, leisure and entertainment organisations," Johnson added.

From as early as the local derby blockbuster match against the St George Illawarra Dragons on Sunday (March 13), our home ground will now be known and referred to as Southern Cross Group Stadium.
