Best of the Best
Jarrod Croker (CTW, $14,900)
Rd 2 Opponent: Roosters
Croker is the Raiders best attacking option and a proven fantasy gun. Given how terrible the Roosters new combinations and defensive structure looked in round 1, expect Canberra to stroll through and score plenty of tries.
Predicted Score: 80

Semi Radradra (CTW, $19,800)
Rd 2 Opponent: Cowboys
Let's start off by saying Semi doesn't do back-to-back games without scoring a try. He just doesn't. In Round 1 against Brisbane he made 18 runs and had a couple offloads. Which was highly encouraging as he still reached his regular usage rate in terms of base stats. The Eels are a different beast at home and, given all the paper talk this week, will come out fired up. Semi to score at least twice - a must buy.
Predicted Score: 91

Sam Burgess (2RF/FRF, $16,300)
Rd 2 Opponent: Knights
Burgess was mightily impressive in his first game back in the NRL - 20 runs, 2 offloads, 19 tackles. Given his brother George is starting this week, Sam's shift to the back row will free up his overall attacking game and allow him to play 80minutes. A lock for 70 points and could be higher if they score points against a young Knights side.
Predicted Score: 70

Value Picks
Trent Hodkinson (HFB, $11,300)
Rd 2 Opponent: Souths
The Knights were utterly humiliated in round 1 against the Titans - yet Hodkinson still scored 47 points. His good base stats come from his mentality, work-rate and how busy he is around the ruck. Without Reynolds, look for Hodkinson to attempt to stamp his authority on the match early and I wouldn't be surprised if he won the game for the Knights.
Predicted Score: 66

Jackson Hastings (HFB/FE, $5,200)
Rd 2 Opponent: Raiders
He impressed, ‘fantasy-wise', in a thoroughly beaten side and is only priced at $5,200. An afternoon game against a depleted Raiders halves pairing should allow us to see the best of Hastings. What's even better he'll free up the salary cap nicely for those of you looking at the big money options. He'll be straight in all my line-ups.
Predicted Score: 50

Steer Clear
After an uncomfortable start, look for Blake Ferguson (FLB/CTW, $12,100) to continue to disappoint. Still learning the position and up against a superior team, don't be convinced into drafting in an expensive back who'll score little points and not reach his value. Having just returned from a niggling injury, yet to play for Parramatta and up against one of the best defensive teams, it'll be very hard to pick Keiran Foran (FE, $12,100) this week. I think it'll be a case of making the whole team play better via his presence, rather than Kieran's direct influence on the match.

Our team line-up:
Wighton (FLB) / Radradra & Croker (CTW) / Hastings (HFB) / S.Burgess & Fensom (2RF) / K.Sims (FRF) / Peats (HOK)
