A new chapter for Peni Tagive
Sydney Roosters player Peni Tagive has today announced his retirement from rugby league.
A key member of the Newtown Jets 2012 NSW Cup Premiership winning side, 24-year-old Tagive has decided to retire to pursue fulltime university study where he will be undertaking a Bachelor of Business.
Tagive made his NRL debut with the Wests Tigers in 2008 in a round 1 match against the St George Illawarra Dragons whom he joined in 2011, before joining the Sydney Roosters in 2012. In a career hindered by injury, he played five NRL games with the Tricolours and 18 overall in the top grade.
