Bulldogs five eighth Braith Anasta will miss the next six weeks of football with a broken sternum and the Bulldogs will now have to look at rushing Jonathan Thrustson back into the side for the blockbuster clash against the Eels this Friday night at Telstra Stadium.
Anasta suffered the injury in the Bulldogs emphatic 38-6 victory over the Tigers last Saturday night and his loss leaves a gaping hole in the Bulldogs backline as they look to keep their good form in tact with a win over their archrivals, the Parramatta Eels.
The loss of Anasta certainly evens up the two sides with Parramatta missing Nathan Hindmarsh with an ankle injury but there will no quarter given and none taken as the best rivalry in Rugby League fires up again.
