Anderson and Warriors part company

Leagueunlimited have just learnt that New Zealand Warriors coach Daniel Anderson has accepted a settlement from the club and will resign his position as head coach of the New Zealand Warriors tomorrow. If Anderson leaves New Zealand he will have to forfeit his position as coach of the national team as the coach must reside in New Zealand to be eligible to coach the side.

We believe Tony Kemp will take over as head coach of the New Zealand Warriors on an interim basis.

We also know current Panthers CEO Shane Richardson will resign his position with the Panthers tomorrow to take up the position of CEO with South Sydney after current CEO David Tapp was relieved of his role and demoted to a marketing level position this afternoon.

South Sydney coach Paul Langmack was sacked last night after it was revealed Langmack had lost support of the players.

There is also unconfirmed reports Daniel Anderson will be the man to take the new coaching role at South Sydney but at this stage, it is merely speculation. However, the timing of the two incidents is extremely coincidental so watch this space as we will have the latest news as it comes to hand.
