Another Injury Blow For Storm

Melbourne Storm have lost another player through serious injury after young centre Jake Webster ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament playing for feeder club Brisbane Norths last Sunday.

Webster ? who made his NRL debut in round two this year against the Panthers - will require a season-ending knee reconstruction after yesterday?s MRI scan revealed a torn ACL in his right knee.

The 19-year-old becomes the twelfth casualty on the Storm?s roster of 28 players, barely leaving enough fit personnel to field a team for this Saturday?s clash with the Knights at Energy Australia Stadium.

Fellow centre Steven Bell will undergo an arthroscope later today to determine the extent of a knee injury suffered at training last week.

STORM?S INJURY CLOUD: Steven Bell ? knee (operation today) Robbie Ross ? hip flexor (to be tested) Scott Hill ? shoulder (to be tested) Aaron Moule ? groin (to be tested) Andrew McFadden ? groin (3-4 weeks) Junior Langi ? shoulder (3-4 weeks) Nathan Friend ? ankle (6-8 weeks) Rodney Howe ? knee (12-15 weeks) Michael Russo ? knee (indefinite) Fifita Moala ? knee (indefinite) Robert Tanielu ? neck (indefinite) Jake Webster ? knee (indefinite)
