Wests Tigers hooker Robbie Farah admits he is in serious doubt to play in this Saturday's crucial clash with Cronulla due to a corked hip.

Farah will spend one hour every day in a hyperbaric chamber to speed his recovery, but says he is at long odds to face the Sharks at Toyota Park. Tigers coach Tim Sheens will today name Stuart Flanagan in Farah's place but will give the Dally M Medal favourite every chance to prove his fitness before the weekend clash.

The Tigers have lost their last two games and could drop out of the top eight if they fall to the Sharks.

Up north, Test and Origin centre Justin Hodges will remain with the Brisbane club until the end of the 2011 season after signing with the premiers for another four years.

Negotiations have gone on for several months but Brisbane chief executive Bruno Cullen says the deal has finally been signed off. Hodges, who returned to the Broncos from the Sydney Roosters two seasons ago on a budget basement deal, had his terms significantly upgraded.

Widely regarded as one of the game's premier centres, Hodges was a priority signing for Brisbane, with several senior players including Petero Civoniceva, Brad Thorn and Shaun Berrigan departing at the end of the season and taking with them a wealth of first grade experience.

At the judiciary, North Queensland forward Sione Faumuina faces a five-week ban after being charged with a grade two reckless high tackle by the NRL match review committee.

Faumuina was put on report for a 41st-minute tackle on Penrith hooker Luke Priddis in last night's golden point win which put the Cowboys back into the top four. But Faumuina is faced with missing at least the first two weeks of the finals in a huge blow to the Cowboys' campaign.

If the former New Zealand Test forward attempts to fight the charge and is found guilty he will be suspended for seven games and ruled out for the rest of the NRL season.

Looking ahead, and tickets for the Grand Final will go on sale to the general public tomorrow from 9am.

While some tickets will be held back until the week of the grand final, tomorrow's release is the main allocation of tickets and represents the best chance for fans to get the best possible seat for the match.

Season ticket holders have already snapped up 6711 tickets during their priority booking period which opened yesterday and remains open until 9pm tonight. The Grand Final will be played at Telstra Stadium on Sunday, September 30 and tickets are available from Ticketek outlets.
