Ash Harrison returns for Titans

State of Origin forward Ashley Harrison has been named to return for the Jetstar Gold Coast Titans in Friday night's Round 22 blockbuster against Parramatta at Skilled Park.

After missing the club's past two away wins over heavyweights St George Illawarra and the New Zealand Warriors with a knee injury, Harrison has been named by Jetstar Titans coach John Cartwright to return for Friday night's important clash.
Harrison, who has played 210 NRL matches, reclaims his familiar No.13 jersey, with young forward Bodene Thompson shifting from lock to an extended five-man interchange bench which also includes outside back Shannon Walker, who was 18th man against the Warriors.
Injured NSW State of Origin representative Greg Bird is considered another week away from being fit to return from a hamstring injury.
The Titans (5th; 26 competition points) boast a strong record against the Eels (10th; 22 competition points), having won three of their four previous clashes.
The Titans' only loss to the Eels came during last year's finals series when Parramatta scored a 27-2 victory at the Sydney Football Stadium.
The Titans' NYC side will be looking to keep their finals hopes alive when they take on the Eels in the Toyota Cup curtain raiser from 5.20pm.
The Titans Under-20s are currently in ninth spot on the ladder with five rounds of the regular season remaining.
