Ashton Sims to have surgery

St George Illawarra Dragons front-rower, Ashton Sims is expected to be sidelined for 3-4 weeks following news he is to have knee surgery.

The 19-year-old prop forward has had a niggly knee injury for most of the season and will have minor surgery on Wednesday. NSW Origin five-eighth Shaun Timmins has been out for the last two weeks is expected to play against the Rabbitohs on Sunday at the SCG, pending a strength test on his shoulder. Meanwhile, second rower Tony Jensen is in doubt with a minor hamstring strain and will have an MRI scan this week.
