Bailey hoping to be fit for Penrith
Jetstar Gold Coast Titans co-captain Luke Bailey will be hoping to overcome a knee injury in time to take on the Penrith Panthers at CUA Stadium on Monday night.
The inspirational prop was today named by Titans coach John Cartwright in an unchanged 17-man squad to that which downed Canberra at Skilled Park last Friday night - a win which elevated the Gold Coast club to the top of the NRL ladder.
In a positive for the club, MRI scans taken on Monday cleared Bailey of serious damage in his knee and the Titans are hopeful a long week in the lead-up to the clash against the Panthers will aid in his recovery.
