THE people in the small town of Bamaga would have seen nothing like it before.
 
The most northerly town in Australia - where supplies are usually either shipped or flown in - will see a drop-off of a different kind when Intrust Super Cup teams the Souths Logan Magpies and Northern Pride touchdown on Saturday, August 20.

Located 61km north of the Jardine River and 983km north of Cairns, Bamaga is the most northern populated place in mainland Queensland with a last recorded population of 869 people, and it will soon be the scene of an historic game of rugby league.
