BARLA Yorkshire County Squad

Yorkshire coaches Alf Hill (Heworth), Tony Spence (Ideal Isberg) and Steve Robson (Skirlaugh) have named a 20-man squad going into the BARLA County Championship decider at West Hull next Sunday 3rd April kick off 2.30pm as a result of injuries and impending fitness tests. Liam Walsh (Siddal) and James Folan (Thornhill Trojans) are out injured, Paul Hatton is out of the country and Shaun Sutton will have a late fitness test during the week.

Wayne Foster, John Waldron, Adam Hendersby and Wayne Oppie have been brought into the side that defeated holders Lancashire last month. Stephen Lewis will captain the side and Kevin Brown will be the vice captain.

Coach Alf Lewis said, ? We haven?t had a big squad to pick from and we have had to pull a few in through injuries. But we still feel we will have the side to win the championship and we will decide on the team on the day. It?s three years since we won and we want to win it again?
