Bartercard Cup Rd 12 preview and teams

Round 12 in New Zealand's Bartercard Cup will see some tough games for the teams vying for a Top 5 spot on the competition table.

First game up tomorrow night is the clash between the Falcons and Rangers in Levin. A heavy loss to the competition leaders last week has seen the Cental Falcons slip down the table to be near the bottom. They'll be looking for a solid performance up against the Watakere Rangers who had an impressive win over bottom placed Northern Storm in Round 11

Northern Storm may feel the brunt of the Bulls fire when they meet up early Sunday afternooon in Whangarei. A rare home defeat for the Bulls last week against the Harbour League side will still be in their minds I'm sure. The Storm have shown they can cause a bit of damage, and no better place to do it than in front of their supporters.

The Stallions have had a couple of good wins in the last two rounds and will travel down to Wellington full of confidence for their match on Sunday afternoon. The mostly youthful Orcas side fought hard on Monday night against a tough Jetz side and can take a lot of heart from that. A tough one to pick a winner from.

One of the top match ups of Round 12 is saved for Monday night when the Jetz take on Harbour League in Albany. Both sides come off impressive away wins from last week. One point seperates the two sides on the table, with the Harbour side just out of the Top 5.
