Bell fit for clash with Tigers

Melbourne Storm centre Steven Bell has been cleared to play in tomorrow night?s NRL Round 13 clash with the Wests Tigers at Olympic Park (5.30pm), after successfully passing a fitness test this afternoon.

After suffering a mid-foot sprain in the first half of last week?s ten point win over the Knights in Newcastle, Bell had been in considerable doubt for the fifth-placed Storm?s match against the sixth-placed Tigers on Saturday night.

But after successfully negotiating a half-hour fitness test late this afternoon, the 28-year-old will take his place in the Storm line up as the home side aims to deny Wests their first ever win in Melbourne.

Halfback Matt Orford (hand) and winger Matt Geyer (knee) are also expected to play in tomorrow night?s match despite carrying injuries throughout the week.
