Ben Kennedy added to Kangaroo
train-on squad

Following the weekend matches, Chairman of the Australian Rugby League, Mr Colin Love, has announced just the one addition to the 2005 Kangaroos train-on squad.

Manly lock forward Ben Kennedy will join a number of players from teams no longer in contention in the NRL Finals series.

At 31-years-old, Kennedy, had a change of mind after earlier announcing his retirement from representative football following the 2005 Origin series.

Kennedy joins the 15 players now in contention for the 2005 Tri-Nations series which begins in October.

The current Kangraoos train-on squad is: Craig Fitzgibbon, Anthony Minichiello, Craig Wing, Willie Mason, Mark O'Meley, Andrew Ryan, Steve Price, Joel Clinton, Craig Gower, Luke Lewis, Luke Rooney, Trent Waterhouse, Danny Buderus, Andrew Johns, Steve Simpson and Ben Kennedy.
