International centre Shaun Berrigan yesterday agreed to terms with the Brisbane Broncos for a further two-years.
26-year-old Berrigan is believed to have signed a deal worth $550,000 but has signalled his intentions to finish his career in England.
"If I didn't get what I wanted I definitely would have left," said Berrigan, who could have received $800,000 at other clubs.
"I love the Broncos but I would like to go overseas and I don't want to leave it too late."
Brett Seymour's manager, George Mimis, will meet Broncos CEO Bruno Cullen next week.
It is expected the 20-year-old halfback will stay at the Brisbane club.
