Betham may have played last match

New Zealand Warriors hooker Monty Betham will decide today whether he will fight a dangerous throw charge that threatens to end his NRL season.

If he unsuccessfully fights the charge, the veteran utility will miss the Warriors' last two regular season games. Betham will be banned for one match with an early plea.

In other judiciary news, Cronulla backrower Cameron Ciraldo faces a two-game ban for a grade four careless high tackle on Sydney Roosters centre Ryan Cross. He will escape with a one-match ban with an early plea.

Meanwhile, Manly's Steve Matai faces a one-match ban for a grade one careless high tackle on Newcastle prop Craig Smith from the Knights' 22-14 win over the Sea Eagles.

And Souths halfback Ben Walker has been charged with a grade one careless high tackle but will escape suspension.
