Bird cops ten weeks

Cronulla Sharks five-eighth Greg Bird has been suspended for ten matches following tonight's NRL judiciary verdict.

Bird was found guilty of deliberately kneeing Souths winger Shane Marteene in the face during the Sharks 36-12 loss on Saturday night.
