Former All Black Frano Botica is set to step up his goal kicking remedial work with the Warriors over the next few days.

The Warriors' kicking again looked shaky in the four point win over Manly at the weekend.

Coach Daniel Anderson says the more Botica works with PJ Marsh and Lance Hohaia the better.

Anderson is sure once Botica spends more face to face time with them, there will be a rapid improvement.

The worth of a goal kicker has again been highlighted in the NRL with North Queenland beating Souths 27-20 on Monday night.

Souths scored four tries to three, but young Cowboys kicker Josh Hannay kicked seven from eight goals.
