Bowen stitched, Cowboys sell out
Broncos game

North Queensland?s excitement machine Matt Bowen has stayed loyal to the club that has made him and signed a new three year deal with the Cowboys and shunning his back on the open market. Bowen's contract was set to expire at the end of season 2005 and stated he may test his worth at other clubs prior to the announcement today. He has scored seven tries in eight games for the table=topping Cowboys.

Meanwhile, the 10 clash against rivals Brisbane at Townsville's Dairy Farmers Stadium on May 14 is already a sell out. Cowboys CEO Denis Keeffe says it is the first time in the rugby league club's 11-season history that it has sold out a match so early.

Over 22,000 Cowboys fans will occupy the stadium for a replay of last year?s semi-final, with both teams in red-hot form.
