After leaving the Tigers, Brasher had a short stint with the South Sydney Rabbitohs before joining the North Queensland Cowboys, where he finished his career.
Brasher played in a total of 244 games for his three clubs, scoring 100 tries and kicking 105 goals. Brasher also represented New South Wales in the inter state Origin series against Queensland.
