Broncos could lose Tallis and
Carroll

Queensland duo Gorden Tallis and Tonie Carroll are likely to drop out of Brisbane's side for Sunday's top of the table National Rugby League match against Canberra.

The Broncos had 11 players involved in the opening State of Origin match in Brisbane last Wednesday night and their annual Origin hangover seems ready to strike again in the national capital.

Queensland and Broncos skipper Tallis is expected to be rested after the torrid 25-12 loss to NSW at Suncorp Stadium while Maroons lock Carroll nursed a cut above the eye after a head clash with teammate Petero Civoniceva.

The Broncos will face an in-form Raiders side unaffected by Origin commitments.
