Anxious Brisbane Broncos officials hope to find out today whether prop Shane Webcke will be available for Sunday's NRL clash against Parramatta.
Webcke sent a massive scare though the Broncos camp on Tuesday when he rolled his ankle during a training drill. The injury prompted coach Wayne Bennett to place Sam Thaiday, on the comeback trail from a knee injury, on stand-by.
Brisbane managing director Bruno Cullen says early indications are that Webcke should play.
