Bull's Eye

In this week's Bulls Eye, Brian Noble and Tevita Vaikona look ahead to Sunday's Tetley's Super League Round 2 clash at Belle Vue when the Bulls take on the Wildcats. BRIAN NOBLE:

IT?S A TOUGH CALL TO GO TO WAKEFIELD FOLLOWING LAST WEEK?S DISAPPOINTING DEFEAT TO ST HELENS.

It is. We were very disappointing and disappointed last week but we know what we have to do to put things right but it will be difficult against Wakefield, particularly at Belle Vue. They have beaten us there before and they will be cock a hoop in view of the way they are going.

They have strengthened very well in the off season. David Solomona is ripping everyone apart with his offloads. Sid Domic is running really hard. He is a player that I have a lot of respect for. They have also got Ryder on the wing and Korkidas and Hood up front taking them forward. That allows March to run out of Dummy Half and they have a couple of good Half Backs in Ben Jeffries and Jamie Rooney, so if we are anyway, shape or form like we were last week, we will struggle.

The players have responded in the only way they can to last week?s defeat. They must get back on the horse and ride again as soon as possible and we have that opportunity on Sunday. We know some of the reasons why we didn?t perform last week and that is important for us as we look to get back on track.

TEVITA VAIKONA:

IT IS A DIFFICULT GAME THIS WEEK

It?s never easy going to Wakefield and after last week, it?s important we get back to winning ways. We know we were poor and we know we have to put it right this week. We were all extremely disappointed with how things went because we know we are a better team than what we showed last week. The only way to get over the disappointment is to put in a big performance and that is what we will be looking for this week.

Wakefield are a very tough side and they come at you all the time. We will have to be better prepared for that challenge than we were last week otherwise we will lose again.
