Bulldogs name NSW Cup Grand Final side

The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs will take 738 games worth of NRL experience into Sunday's NSW Cup Grand Final against the Auckland Vulcans at ANZ Stadium.

The Bulldogs have today named a 19 man squad for the match, which sees the Bulldogs chasing their third title in as many seasons after wins in 2010 (v Windsor) and 2009 (Bankstown Sports v Balmain).

Coach Justin Holbrook's side has been boosted by the return from injury of Gary Warburton, who has been named on a six man bench after overcoming a groin strain suffered in the Bulldogs final round NRL clash against the Canberra Raiders.

Holbrook has done minimal tinkering with his starting side, naming Chris Armit to start at prop alongside hooker Joel Romelo, after both came off the bench in Sunday's Grand Final Qualifier win over the North Sydney Bears.

Trent Cutler will again captain the side from fullback, after playing his 200th Club game for the Bulldogs in the win over the Bears.

In total, all bar three players named in the 19 have NRL experience, with only Nathan Smith, Shane Pumipi and recent standout Harlan Alaalatoa not to have played First Grade at some point.
Among the most experienced in the side are Michael Hodgson (204 NRL games), Chris Armit (149 NRL games) and Ben Roberts (93 NRL games).
The trio, along with Michael Lett, Brad Morrin, Junior Tia-Kilifi and Gary Warburton, will play their last games for the Bulldogs on Sunday.
