Bulldogs name team for World Club
Challenge

The Bulldogs have been forced to name a depleted side to take on Leeds in the World Club Challenge match in England on Friday night.

Lock Tony Grimaldi will captain the National Rugby League champions, while enforcer Sonny Bill Williams has overcome an off-season shoulder operation to start in the second row.

Test players Mark O'Meley, Willie Mason and Matt Utai are among the Bulldogs' unavailable for the match at Elland Road through injury, as are Ben Harris and Brent Sherwin.

Coach Steve Folkes has named a young interchange bench, including rookies Nate Myles and Brett Oliver, while there remains an injury doubt over Trevor Thurling.

Bulldogs team: Luke Patten, Hazem El Masri, Willie Tonga, Jamaal Lolesi, Trent Cutler, Braith Anasta, Corey Hughes, Tony Grimaldi (c), Sonny Bill Williams, Reni Maitua, Roy Asotasi, Adam Perry, Chris Armit.
