Bulldogs of old smash struggling Roosters

It was the devastating Bulldogs side of old tonight as the Canterbury Bankstown outfit crushed a fruitless Sydney Roosters team 38-6 in front of 20,722 fans at Telstra Stadium.

Missing crucial players in Willie Mason, Mark O'Meley, Hazem El Masri, and skipper Andrew Ryan, the Bulldogs overwhelmed a strong looking side in the Roosters, who looked dangerous in patches but failed to consistently harass the Dogs defence.

Halfback Brent Sherwin was one of the standouts, proving to be a decent fill in for El Masri as he kicked 5 from 7 whilst also having a hand in most of the Bulldogs
