Bulldogs Self-Destruct at hands of Scintillating Broncos

The Brisbane Broncos have kept their charge to the NRL top 8 going with a scintillating 45-10 win over a poor Canterbury Bulldogs at Suncorp Stadium.

Despite the scorecard, the Bulldogs looked like the team who was going to be able to take the game by the scruff of the neck first when off some lucky rebounds, Josh Reynolds found himself scoring a try and after several replays the Bulldogs took an early 6-0 lead.

From there, the Broncos started to hit their straps although on several occasions they let the pressure off the Bulldogs with some simple errors with the try line wide open.

Not long after the Broncos finally capitalised on the pressure they created when Daley Copley scored in the corner off some good work from the men inside him, Corey Parker wasn't able to convert from out wide.

Next up in the scoring procession came through Daniel Vidot, who got the green lights from the video referees after numerous replays were inconclusive to whether or not the ball touched the ground, therefore the on field call from Gerard Sutton was upheld.

The final try of the first half, was also the most skilful when Ben Barba managed to get an unlikely offload away before Jack Reed managed to get his foot to the ball kicking it backwards to Ben Barba who got himself over in the corner to score, this gave the Broncos a 20-6 half time lead.

The second half had a brighter start for the Bulldogs when Josh Jackson was able to cross early in the second half to bring the margin back to 10.

From there things just went down faster than an avalanche on Mount Everest, when Josh Reynolds was put on report for kicking Sam Thaiday in the head, then minutes later the Broncos scored through Corey Oates.

The Broncos then continued the scoring through a penalty goal from Corey Parker and then Andrew McCullough put the margin out to 19.

The second and probably worst of the incidents involving Josh Reynolds was next when he stuck his leg out and tripped a flying Ben Barba, the Suncorp crowd chanted off but Gerard Sutton didn't go as far by only putting the incident on report.

Following that the Broncos put another try on the ball through Sam Thaiday from close range, not long after Josh Reynolds was sent to the sin bin after Gerard Sutton made good on the warning from the trip.

The nail in the coffin was when Ben Hunt crossed off a beautiful Josh McGuire pass to score under the sticks to wrap up a comfortable 41-10 win.

Despite having a nervous wait for the judiciary, the Bulldogs will need to have to rebuild to avoid a fifth straight loss when they take on the Parramatta Eels at ANZ Stadium, meanwhile the Broncos also have a roadtrip to ANZ Stadium when they take on the South Sydney Rabbitohs on Thursday night
