Bulldogs This Week - Bulldogs In The Community Christmas Blitz
Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs captain Andrew Ryan will bring some Christmas cheer to Ronald McDonald House at Westmead on Tuesday, with the 2010 Ken Stephen Medallist donating a portion of his winnings to families doing it tough this
Ryan, alongside team mates Michael Hodgson, Junior Tia-Kilifi and Daniel Rauicava, will present a cheque to the management to make things a little brighter for those patients and their families staying at Ronald McDonald House this Christmas.
The donation is one of a number that Ryan will make this week, with a total of $5,000 from his Ken Stephen Medal win and another $5,000 from his victory in the Bulldogs Peter Warren Medal going to charitable causes.
Other recipients include the Allan Coates Cancer Unit at Dubbo Base Hospital, the Australian Foundation for Disability, the Children's Hospital at Westmead, and a number of other causes.
The Bulldogs in the Community programme will continue to be a focus throughout the rest of this week.
Thursday sees Ben Barba, Trent Hodkinson, Kris Keating and Grant Millington at the Children's Hospital at Westmead for Classic Rock's Christmas Appeal, while later that day Michael Ennis and Jake Foster will be wrapping Christmas hampers
for the Salvation Army at Campsie.
Chrisco are helping the Bulldogs spread more Christmas cheer, with in excess of 50 hampers available for the Bulldogs to donate to community partners. Ronald McDonald House, The Children's Hospital at Westmead and The Salvation Army
at Campsie will all share in the hampers this Christmas.
The three events listed are all open to media and are part of a round of 19 individual or team appearances scheduled for the week ahead.
