NRL TEAMS - 2024 Round 4
3 days ago | LeagueUnlimited Media
In this week's Bulls Eye, Brian Noble and Shontayne Hape look ahead to Sunday's Tetley's Super League Round 20 game at the Jungle between the Tigers and the Bulls. BRIAN NOBLE:
CASTLEFORD IS NEVER AN EASY PLACE FOR THE BULLS TO GO.
We always traditionally have tough games there. They are very strong at the Jungle and we recognise we are in for a tough day. They have some really good quality players on top of their game at the moment. People like Lynch and Smith in their pack are playing really well and Wayne Bartrim will be back to fire them up. Ryan Hudson is always on top of his game and Danny Orr seems to be flying along at the moment so they will be well prepared for this game.
They played very well at Wakefield, they were very strong defensively and against St Helens they looked super with the ball in their hands. Graeme Steadman will be taking a lot of positives out of those games and he will be trying to marry them both together against us but I am really looking forward to clashing swords with them again.
This is the start of a big period for us, with three games in a week but we are just focusing on Castleford and I?d like us to play really well on Sunday and reinforce some of the things we did well last week.
SHONTAYNE HAPE:
IT WILL BE A TOUGH GAME THIS WEEK.
It should be a classic. We are starting to hit some good form and they are a very strong team, particularly at the Jungle so we should be in for a high quality game. They have some very good players and I will be opposite Paul Mellor who is a really strong running Centre. It won?t be easy for us but we are playing with confidence and I?d like to think we can carry this on now to the Play Offs.
