Bulls sign Nathan Armitage

20th April 2005 Bradford Bulls are delighted to announce that they have beaten off stiff opposition from other Super League clubs for the signature of Nathan Armitage from Wakefield.

16 years old Armitage represented England schoolboys in both their games against France earlier this month and was captain of the triumphant Stanley Rangers under 16 Yorkshire Cup winning side has already impressed in his first outing with the Bulls Junior Academy team.

Mark Robinson, Bulls Recruitment Manager said

"We think he is a crackerjack of a player, great work rate, tough and highly competitive. We believe he has all the attributes to go all the way in Rugby League and we are extremely pleased to secure his signing ahead of competition from Wakefield, Hull and Castleford."
