Burns suspended for one week

Manly halfback Travis Burns has been suspended for one match by the NRL judiciary after entering an early guilty plea for a grade one dangerous throw charge stemming from the trial match loss to the Roosters last Saturday.

Burns will miss the Sea Eagles' final trial against Wests Tigers at Brookvale Saturday but will be available to play the first round of the NRL season. South Sydney's Beau Champion has also taken the early guilty plea option for a grade one careless high tackle against the Dragons but escaped suspension.
