North Queensland coach Graham Murray has retained hardman Kevin Campion as skipper for this weekend's clash with Melbourne despite the return of Queensland centre Paul Bowman from a knee injury.
Murray says he wants Bowman to concentrate on his football for the National Rugby League match against the Storm at Olympic Park on Saturday night following an injury-plagued season. Bowman hasn't played since injuring his knee on the controversial sandy surface of Suncorp Stadium in Origin I last month.
Fullback Daniel Sorbello has been plucked out of Queensland Cup to replace Maroons utility Matthew Bowen. Bowman and winger Aaron Morgan fill the hole created by the absence of Queensland reps Josh Hannay and Matt Sing.
