Canberra team
to face Souths - Croker rushed back

Canberra coach Matthew Elliott has rushed veteran Jason Croker into the starting line-up for Monday's NRL match against South Sydney at Aussie Stadium.

Croker has served out a three-match suspension for a dangerous throw dating back to last year's qualifying final loss to the Sydney Roosters.

The 32-year-old Croker and fellow backrower Michael Hodgson are the only additions to the Raiders outfit that thrashed Newcastle 39-14 at Canberra Stadium on Saturday.

Elliott has adopted a cautious approach with second-rower Ian Hindmarsh, who will have an MRI scan on his injured calf today.

Canberra squad: Clinton Schifcofske, Phil Graham, Craig Frawley, Adam Mogg, David Howell, Jason Smith, Lincoln Withers, Ryan O'Hara, Simon Woolford (C), Troy Thompson, Matt Adamson, Kris Kahler, Jason Croker. Interchange: Michael Weyman, Michael Hodgson, Alan Tongue, Matt Gafa, Josh Miller, Alan Rothery (two to be omitted).
