Celtic Crusaders under 18s on the road

Celtic Crusaders under 18s go on the road for a home game for the first time as we stage a game at The Welfare Ground, home of Newbridge RFC.

The club's head of youth development Andy Lindley said: "We'll be playing a few games on the road now to allow our Brewery Field pitch to be in the best possible condition for Super League when it kicks off here on February 21st.

"As a squad we discussed where we would like to play and Anthony Symmonds, an ex-Newbridge RFC player suggested his old club. This was an excellent choice as we've had links with Newbridge in the past and they have always wanted to come on board with us.

"We're playing more games on the road soon. A potential top of the table clash against Leigh Miners Rangers on March 1st will be played in Treorchy while Treherbert could be an option for our final two home games."
