Cordoba released; Eels make backline changes

The Pirtek Parramatta Eels have granted forward Josh Cordoba a release from the remainder of his NRL playing contract, effective immediately.

Cordoba, who has played 60 First Grade games for the Eels since his debut in round one of 2006, will link with English Super League club Hull FC in coming days.

Meanwhile, the Eels have undergone a backline reshuffle ahead of their round 18 Monday Night Football clash with the Gold Coast Titans at Skilled Park.

Krisnan Inu returns on the wing after missing Sunday's four point loss to the Panthers with the flu, while Ben Smith retains his spot in the centres and Luke Burt shifts to fullback in place of NSW Origin representative Jarryd Hayne.
