Corey Parker re-signs with Broncos

Brisbane backrower Corey Parker has re-signed with the NRL club for another three years.

The 25-year-old, who first signed with the Broncos as a 15-year-old scholarship holder, has extended his deal until the end of the 2011 season.

Broncos boss Bruno Cullen said Parker's re-signing showed confidence in the club as they search to replace departing head coach Wayne Bennett for 2009.

Now in his eighth season of NRL football, Parker is due to return from a knee injury, suffered in the Broncos opening round win over Penrith, next week.
