Cowboys regain Hall, Tamou

COWBOYS REGAIN HALL, TAMOU

FORWARD duo James Tamou and Glenn Hall will return to the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys' line-up for the round 16 NRL match against Penrith at Centrebet Stadium on Sunday.

Hall was suspended for the game against the NZ Warriors on Saturday night, while Tamou was sidelined with a shoulder injury.

They were both named in the starting forward pack by coach Neil Henry today, with second-rower Gavin Cooper reverting to the centres and Leeson Ah Mau resuming his interchange forward role.

Isaak Ah Mau and Will Tupou are the two players to make way for Hall and Tamou's return.

Halfback Johnathan Thurston and second-rower Tariq Sims have been included pending the results of their appearances at the NRL judiciary on Wednesday night.

Thurston has pleaded not guilty to a contrary contact charge, while Sims has pleaded guilty to making dangerous contact in a tackle involving the Warriors' Krisnan Inu but is seeking a downgrade which would allow him to play against the Panthers.

The judiciary hearing will begin at 6pm with Thurston to appear first.
